better and old name (Password) will be available in documentation for some time.

-

dowloaded from remote database and user does not need to delete the local copy first.
-
New menu item added into "Scorecard->Player->Edit" called
"Options->Remote->Link player/remove". With "Link player" You can make Your
scores viewable to linked player, when he logs into in Strokeplan server at
http://strokeplan.com/golf/LoginStat.aspx. If this player has privacy
level "Credentials has to match", You/he has to enter credentials to player record
before linking can take place. You can also remove an existing link with
Options->Remote->Link player/remove. Linking is not mutual, so the other player
has to link You before You can view his scores.
- Version 1.38 2007/08/17-2007/08/19. Enhancement and bug correction
-
If course had no map and user still opened the map view, the screen was blank.
Now S60 shows soft button menu "Options" and "Back" and UIQ shows menu as previously.
-
Score Net is now calculated with correct player's course adjusted hcp.
Previously the net was calculated with new, formula calculated hcp.
When user creates new scorecard and selects player(s) for it, the player's hcp is copied
into scorecard's hcp column if 1) the round has not started yet (the first hole
strokes are still zero) 2) and hcp column is empty.
This guarantees, that scorecard does not re-adjust old scorecard's hcp
with player's new, eventually changed hcp.
-
Scorecard special strokes tracking codes has been changed:
1=Move ball,2=Bunker, 3=Double-touch,4=Penalty,5=Lost ball,

Strokenames are shown at the lower part of the scorecard when focus is
in special strokes column.
-
Map toolbox adapts to Your strokesaver direction. E.g. Your tee is on the right
side of the screen and green is on the left. The horizontal distance toolbox
adapts to it and 1st stroke is on the right and green is on the left.
- Version 1.37 2007/08/07-2007/08/16. Some bug corrections:
-
If You track GIR and Putts on Your scorecard, total strokes are calculated e.g.
GIR = 1 and Putts = 3 and hole = par 5 then total strokes = 6. Of course You can
change this value, if Your true result was birdie, eagle etc.
Course search criteria are now retained through Your session, so if You made a typo
while entering search criteria, You can now search the course again just by correcting the typo.
Also, if no courses are found in course search, Your search course criteria are shown in
returned errormessage.
- In score view, a hash character # will switch navi-key between four-way
navigation # (previously +) mode and two-way navigation/data entering mode -.
- Program stopped accepting intput and then crashed after
about a 15-60 seconds (with WIEWSVR 11 error), if a course was retrieved from remote database
and a new scorecard was saved into remote database immediately after retrieval. Corrected.
-
The player removal from scorecard has been modified. You can now remove
e.g. first player from scorecard if necessary. All other players on scorecard will be
adjusted left accordingly.
-

Previously the removed entry was left on screen even though it was
deleted from phone's database.
-
The upload of scorecard to server failed if in scorecard there was an apostrophe '
character in Notes-field. Corrected.
-
If user tried to upload a new course to server without saving it locally into phone first,
no "valid from" or "valid until" dates were generated and remote upload failed.
Program now first stores a copy of new course into phone before uploading it.
If You add a new course to remote database, please, do not delete Your local
copy (which has CourseID 101-999) until Strokeplan Ltd has added the checked new
course to remote database. You can now download those unchecked courses, what You have
uploaded to strokeplan server, even if You don't have rights to download other unchecked
courses.
- Version 1.36 2007/07/29. A minor modification:
-
If an existing course was used as a template for new course and new course had less tee distances
(e.g. only back and front tee), the one additional "No color" tee was sometimes added to new course.
Also, tee lengths are now automatically sorted from longest to shortest, when course is saved
locally or uploaded to strokeplan server. If Your course is modified and course rating / slope are changed,
please, terminate the original course validity (change "valid until" in course edit) and
create a new copy of course with new cr/slope values and correct "valid from" date, when the change
takes place.
- Version 1.35 2007/07/24-2007/07/26. Some minor modifications:
-
Settings-dialog is now easier to understand, because most of the items , which were unchangeable,
has been removed.
-
In Score view cursor is now set to next empty score row, when You retrieve score either from
phone or remote database.
-
The course selecting for scorecard was not always logical. Now, when You select a course
in score view, You will select the score card course, i.e. the course where You are going to play.
If You select a course either in course view or tournament view, it will not select the course
for scorecard view. When You move focus back to scorecard view from e.g. course view,
the correct scorecard course will be retrieved, if it is not currently selected.
-
Database<->Phone score synchronizing will be performed, if You change the course in
Your scorecard sometime after You entered all scores.
E.g. if You have no connection to server, You can still play Your round without a
correct course and update Your scores, when You can retrieve the right course from
remote database.
-
A minor bug corrected. When new teetime/scorecard was created into server,
the courseid changes were not updated unless the scorecard was saved locally.
- Version 1.34 2007/07/22-2007/07/23. Following minor modifications and one correction has been made:
-
In Course view You will asked if You want to "Set Options->Cols->Modify=ON", when You try to modify course
data while modify enabled is OFF.
-
Corrected only in UIQ20/21: Program crashed (KERN-EXEC 0) if connection was canceled while trying
connecting to server. Now UIQ version will show You "Http error ..." and recover from error.
Bug is still present in S60 version. There is no known workaround for this problem.
Luckily, crash causes no memory leaks and Symbian OS can recover and clean up resources.
You just have restart program. In S60, do not cancel while You try to connect.
-
Code has been restructured for easier maintenance.
- Version 1.33 2007/07/17. Following reported bugs has been corrected:
-
Some phones with Finnish language selected reported not install at all.

new 1.33.0 and reinstall. Thanks to all of You, who reported about this problem.

- Version 1.32 2007/07/15. Following new features or reported bugs corrected:
- Countrynames are now indexed according 3-letter countrycode abbreviations.
Use navi-left-right to fast scroll 5 rows at a time.
- Player data is now preserved synchronously between upgrade-installations.
- Executing a large set of phone database sql statements caused sometimes
ViewSrv 11 error, if there was no additional user activity to keep the application foreground.
- Installation procedure filled erroneously "0" initials to Firstname and Surname fields. If player
data does not exist in phone, program tried to show PlayerId instead, which was zero.
- After installation, program could not be removed completely unless user registrated
it at Strokeplan service.

WLAN hotspot covered area while connected and then return to same area and expect that same
connection will work. Workaround: close strokeplan before You leave WLAN hotspot and You
know You will walk outside of it's range.
- Possible minor bug: Two reports about unnecessary score synchronization. Scores have been synchronized
even though just only one person has modified them. Suspected cause: server procedure has modified the server
side scorecard so that timestamp are different between phone and server version.
